Type 2 Diabetes in Patients with G6PD Deficiency

In a cohort study, glycated hemoglobin levels markedly underestimated glucose levels in patients with G6PD deficiency, which indicates that this marker may be unreliable for diagnosis and management of diabetes in this population.
