Case 35-2024: A Newborn with Hypoxemia and a Lung Opacity

A full-term infant was admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit for hypoxemic respiratory failure. During the third week, a chest radiograph showed a persistent opacity in the left lower lobe. A diagnosis was made.
